Roxul Insulation provides powerful mineral wool that offers key elements such as fire resistance, noise control, water resistance, easy installation and a ton of environmentally friendly features. This stone wool (mineral fiber) blanket (wrap) is recommended for systems where corrosion under insulation as well as personal and equipment protection, maybe a concern.
The fire resistance of this insulation can withstand heat up to 2150 F without melting, and the material also does not absorb water or hold in moisture. Additionally, the composition of the wool reduces air leaks and outside noise, creating a sound barrier. The high R-value of this product promotes energy efficiency and each piece of insulation contains at least 15% recycled content. (formally known as ENERWRAP 80)
