Rockwool Cavityrock is a semi-rigid unfaced stone wool insulation board that is made from natural and recycled materials and is designed for use on exterior cavity wall and rainscreen applications. It is chemically inert and provides excellent long-term thermal efficiency, fire-resistance, moisture control, acoustic performance and is compatible with numerous framing systems and cladding attachment systems. Additionally, it is CFC and HCFE-free and does not rot or promote the growth of mildew, fungi or bacteria.
