3M SS100 is designed to seal construction joints and for penetrations that are non-fire-rated wall and floor assemblies. This product also is a latex sealant that acts as a draftstop to prevent air movement that is unwanted and as a barrier against dust and other particulates.
The composition of these products may not meet applicable Volatile Organic Compound (“VOC”) regulations in states that have adopted the Ozone Transport Commission (“OTC”) Model Rule for Consumer Products. As a result of these VOC regulations, these products cannot be sold into some of these states. OTC states include: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
